We spent one week in Kalamata, diving for 5 days at the buoy. Before our arrival, Nejc helped us very diligently with the organisation and when on site, the scheduling of the dives was smooth. Everyone at Kalamata Freedivers is smiley and easy-going. The mood at the line was always great, with the safety team being very attentive and supportive. Besides, the water is just beautiful! Definetely an experience woth repeating <3

I would say that this is one of the best freediving places in Europe. Not only for the always beautiful and calm blue waters but because of the excellent centre facilities. I've been to plenty of freediving centres but this is something else. Warm showers, places to keep your gear overnight, excellent large boat with competition setup that some places can only dream (electric engine!!!), incredible safety team (including scooter) and reliable leaving and arriving on time. Great for those people that have commitments after diving. Have to also mention the community around it. Always have coffee straight after the dive and great communication through chat groups. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I had training with the team at Kalamata Freedivers. From the moment I first reached out to them, I was welcomed with a warmth and hospitality they extend to everyone. The instructors and safeties, including Nejc, Christos, Mojca, Linde, Nikos and Marianna, are an exceptional group of individuals with immense knowledge and a deep passion for freediving. Their dedication to helping you improve your skills is evident in the personalised attention they provide during each session, genuinely caring about your progress and safety. Safety measures are taken very seriously, and I always felt confident and secure during my trainings. The center facilities are also top-notch, clean and well organised with ample space to store your gear, showers (with warm water during the colder season) and an area to stretch before your session or join one of the yoga classes which are offered several times a week. There is also a comfy couch on their terrace, perfect for post-dive chats,, bonding over shared snacks and freddo almond lattes, scetto (if you know, you know 😉 ). This sense of community is another aspect that sets Kalamata Freedivers apart. The positive and supportive atmosphere amongst everyone is truly motivating, and the camaraderie among divers creates a sense of belonging that goes well beyond the training sessions. Overall, my time with Kalamata Freedivers has been nothing short of exceptional. I'm extremely grateful for the experiences and knowledge I gained during my time there. So be warned, this place is awesome and you might never want to leave.

This was an amazing freediving experience. The conditions in Kalamata are great. The team is so cool ! They are very helpful and they have always good advices due to their great experience. It's very safe and they always folow us in our progression. I also realy appreciate the "extras" such as the yoga classes, the barbecue on the beach, the restaurant in the moutain... One of those bests holidays ever !
