Train like a PRO
Many freedivers, experienced and beginners, require help and advice along the way to achieve greater depths safely. Elite performance training gives you a chance to train like a pro and experience competition setup: you can ask for an official count-down for your dive, videos from below and above the surface, and coaching advice from our instructors.
Diving on a competition set up with tags gives you an enormous amount of confidence while preparing for the competitions.
Our highly experienced team of instructors are monitoring deep dives on the sonar with a counter ballast system, while deep safety diver will meet you with the scooter at -60 meters if required. Oxygen for decompression is available on board.
In the event of an accident or a problem requiring hyperbaric treatment, an emergency evacuation plan will be activated immediately.
Training requirements
To enrol for Elite Training, you must be at least 18 years old and have SSI level 1 freediving certification (or equivalent from a recognized training agency).
You must possess valid insurance covering freediving activities for the duration of your stay with us. Alternatively insurance can be purchased through Kalamata Freedivers.
The divesite is located less than 10min drive with our RIB from the centre. Our facilities offer warm showers, changing room & lockers, so we can arrive to the divesite prepared and ready to jump in the water. Top quality freediving equipment is available for hire if you do not have your own. Please note, that we do not rent lanyards, see Regulations and safety measures.

8:00 AM Welcome Meeting
After arriving at the center you will need to sign the required paperwork.
8:15 AM Preparation for the session and changing
8:45 AM Training Starts
12:00 PM Return and Coffee time
