Freediving Training with Friends – Train with Your Buddy!
Looking for a perfect training session with your freediving buddy?
Our Freediving Buddy Training with Friends provides everything you need for a safe and effective session in the stunning waters of Kalamata.
The Buddy Freediving Training is run on the buoy, where freedivers – your buddies are doing safety for you. Training on the buoys is run in a small group (max 3 divers) and is limited to 50m depth.
Training requirements
To enroll for Buddy Freediving Training, you must be at least 18 years old and have an active instructor freediving certification from a recognized training agency (SSI, AIDA, MOLCHANOVS).
You need to have valid insurance covering freediving activities for the duration of your stay with us. Alternatively insurance can be purchased through Kalamata Freedivers.
This training is not intended for instructors conducting a course or workshop at our center. If you’re planning to organize an event, please check out our dedicated offer instead.
The divesite is located less than 10min drive with our RIB from the centre. Our facilities offer warm showers, changing room & lockers, so we can arrive to the divesite prepared and ready to jump in the water.
What's Included?
Price includes:
- Full use of our freediving facilities and boat transfer to the divesite,
- Access to training gear (buoy + rope),
- The training price doesn’t include use of equipment, but top quality freediving equipment is available for hire if you do not have your own.

Training Schedule
After arriving at the center you will need to sign the required paperwork.
We prepare for diving in the center: we have a changing area with warm showers and a storage to keep the dry clothes. When ready, boat takes us to the diving spot.
Duration of the session is 90min. After the session the boat takes you back to the center. There are several boat transfers.
