What will you learn?
- Knowledge Development sessions – Learn the fundamentals of freediving, including principles, techniques, and safety procedures. Then dive deeper into the physics and physiology of freediving, and master advanced equalization techniques.
- Confined Water sessions – Practice Static apnea and Dynamic apnea dives in the pool. Refine your skills and build confidence in a controlled environment, and safety and rescue procedures to ensure safe dives for you and your dive buddy.
- Open Water sessions – Take your newfound skills out to sea with Constant Weight Bi-fins (CWTB), Free Immersion (FIM), and Constant Weight No-Fins (CNF) dives. You will also master safety and rescue procedures.

Dynamic Apnea practice – Neutral buoyancy, Entry, Dynamic Bi-fins (DYNB) finning technique, Turn, Introduce and practice Dynamic No-Fins (DNF) technique. Buddying. Rescue procedures.7:00pm Debrief

Setting surface buoyancy. Use of lanyard. Practice equalization with Free Immersion (FIM). Constant Weight dive to a depth of 12m (39ft).12:00pm Lunch Break

Neutral buoyancy check. Warm ups. Equalisation (Frenzel). Freefall. Free Immersion (FIM) and Constant Weight Bi-fins (CWTB) dives to 20m. Buddying.12:00pm Lunch Break

Diving techniques. Mental techniques. Base Training. Barotrauma. Safety and Rescue. Advanced freediving equipment.3:00pm Wave 2 Confined Water Session 1

Upon successful completion, you will receive both Molchanovs Wave 1 Beginner Freediver and Wave 2 Advanced Freediver certifications, empowering you to explore the underwater world with confidence and skill.
You will also have access to the Molchanovs Dashboard platform with weekly Base Training workouts to continue your freediving journey.

Completion Requirements
By the end of the course you will be able to perform a breath-hold of 2min 30sec; swim an underwater distance of 50m with fins, and 35m without fins in the pool; and dive to depth comfortably 24-30m with fins, and 15m without fins. You will also learn to be a competent safety buddy and perform a rescue from 15m.
