What will you learn?
AIDA Level 2 Freediver Course provides students with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely participate in the recreational freediving activities autonomously with a buddy.
It consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge development about fundamental freediving principles.
- Confined water sessions to learn breath hold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea.
- Open water sessions to practice free immersion and constant weight freedives, as well as proper buddy procedures and rescue techniques.
Goal of the course is to achieve static apnea of 2 minutes, dynamic apnea of 40 meters and constant weight freedive to 12-20 meters.

Upon course registration we will send you course materials in a digital format.
Equipment included
During the course, you will get all the equipment needed for your course.
Certification card
After successful course completion you will receive a digital certification card.
Diving insurance
Diving insurance is included in the course price.
The divesite is located less than 10min drive with our RIB from the centre. Our facilities offer warm showers, changing room & lockers, so we can arrive to the divesite prepared and ready to jump in the water.

Course Schedule
Day 1
2:00 PM Welcome Meeting
After meeting with instructor you will sign the required paperwork in order to start the course.
2:15 PM Theory Session
Academic session (freediving equipment, physiology of freediving, skills).
4:00 PM Breath-hold Session
Relaxation and breath-hold practice in the classroom.
5:00 PM Confined Water Session
Static apnea practice (relaxation, breath-hold, urge to breathe, recovery breathing). Dynamic apnea practice (neutral buoyancy, entry, finning technique, turn). Rescue procedures.
*This session can be organised also on day 2.
7:00 PM Debrief
Day 2
*8:30 AM Confined Water Session
Static apnea practice (relaxation, breath-hold, urge to breathe, recovery breathing). Dynamic apnea practice (neutral buoyancy, entry, finning technique, turn). Rescue procedures.10:30 AM Open Water Session
Setting surface buoyancy. Practice equalization with free immersion. Constant weight finning and body position to a depth of 10 meters.12:00 PM Lunch Break
3:00 PM Theory Session
Academic session (mammalian diving reflex, freediving skills, rescue procedures, underwater environment).5:00 PM Debrief
Day 3
9:30 AM Open Water Session
Practice constant weight, buddy and rescue procedures.12:00 PM Lunch Break

Final theory exam.Day 4
