- Knowledge Development sessions – Learn the fundamentals of freediving, including freediving principles and techniques.
- Confined Water sessions – Practice breath-hold techniques, Static apnea (1min 30sec), and Dynamic apnea in the pool.
- Open Water sessions – Perform Free Immersion and Constant Weight freedives (12-20m), and learn proper safety and rescue procedures (6-10m).
Day 1
1:00 PM Welcome Meeting
After meeting with instructor you will sign the required paperwork in order to start the course.1:15 PM Theory Session 1
Physics of freediving. Physiology of freediving. Breathing and relaxation. Equalising for freediving. Freediving technique.3:00pm Breath-hold Session
Relaxation and breath-hold practice.4:00pm Confined Water Session 1
Static Apnea practice – Relaxation, Breath-hold, Recovery. Buddying. Rescue procedures.5:30pm Confined Water Session 2
Dynamic Apnea practice – Neutral buoyancy, Entry, Dynamic Bi-fins (DYNB) finning technique, Turn, Introduce and practice Dynamic No-Fins (DNF) technique. Buddying. Rescue procedures.7:00 PM Debrief
Day 2
8:30 AM Open Water Session 1
Setting surface buoyancy. Use of lanyard. Practice equalization with Free Immersion (FIM). Constant Weight dive to a depth of 12m.12:00 PM Lunch Break
2:00 PM Theory Session 2
Mammalian diving reflex, Freediving skills, Introduction to Molchanovs Base Training, Potential trauma, Safety and Rescue.5:00 PM Debrief

8:30 AM Open Water Session 2
Practice Constant Weight, Buddy and Rescue procedures.10:30 AM Open Water Session 3
Practice Constant Weight.12:00pm Lunch Break
2:00pm Final Exam
Final theory exam.3:00pm Course Debrief
