Beginner Spearfishing Course
Suitable for freedivers with basic freediving experience and familiarity with essential equipment (mask, snorkel, and fins), this course provides the fundamental knowledge and techniques needed to start spearfishing safely and effectively.
Participants will learn safe spearfishing practices, equipment use, excursion planning, and fish identification. Upon completion, you will be able to confidently and responsibly target selected species at depths of up to 10 meters.

What will you learn?
This spearfishing course combines theory and practical training to build the skills needed for safe and successful underwater hunting.
The theoretical section includes 6 hours of classroom or online instruction covering freediving and spearfishing equipment, marine environments, weather forecasting, fish behavior, safety procedures, buddy diving, local regulations, and sustainable hunting practices.
The practical section takes place in the sea and/or pool, where participants develop essential skills such as equipment setup, speargun handling, diving techniques, underwater safety, buddy system procedures, target shooting, and catch management.
By the end of the course, students will have the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience required to spearfish safely and effectively.
These practical sessions are conducted under the close supervision of an experienced instructor, allowing participants to become familiar with the equipment and techniques in a safe and controlled environment.
The divesite is located less than 10min drive with our RIB from the centre. Our facilities offer warm showers, changing room & lockers, so we can arrive to the divesite prepared and ready to jump in the water.
