Open Facilities program is designed for certified freediving instructors who want to teach independently while using the full resources of Kalamata Freedivers.
We offer access to high-quality freediving equipment, training facilities, and logistical support, so you can focus entirely on delivering great courses and sessions—without the overhead of owning or transporting gear.
Whether you’re visiting for a short period or planning recurring courses, we provide a reliable, professional base for your teaching or coaching.

Ideal conditions for training and education at Kalamata Freedivers
- No need to transport or invest in large amounts of equipment
To use Kalamata Freedivers facilities, you need to be an active freediving instructor from a recognized training agency.
You and your students need a valid insurance covering freediving activities for the duration of your stay with us. Alternatively insurance can be purchased through Kalamata Freedivers.
The divesite is located less than 10min drive with our RIB from the centre. Our facilities offer warm showers, changing room & lockers, so we can arrive to the divesite prepared and ready to jump in the water.
What's Included?
Price includes:
- Freediving session of 90′.
- Full use of our freediving facilities and boat transfer to the divesite,
- Access to training gear (buoy + rope),
- Storage of equipment while not diving,
- The training price doesn’t include use of equipment, but top quality freediving equipment is available for hire if you do not have your own.
- On-site support and local knowledge
- In case of double session, instructor is charged only once.

Training Schedule
After arriving at the center you will need to sign the required paperwork.
We prepare for diving in the center: we have a changing area with warm showers and a storage to keep the dry clothes. When ready, boat takes us to the diving spot.
Duration of the session is 90min. After the session the boat takes you back to the center. There are several boat transfers.
