This is going to change your life!
We know how hard it is to be a “young” athlete with big dreams. Traveling to a freediving location and training depth for extended period, can be quite a financial challenge for someone who is a newcomer in this sport, without previous results that would attract attention from the potential sponsors.
We got an idea how to help you!
With our help you will be able to join daily training sessions – ELITE TRAINING, which is run on the competition setup: with the motorised counterbalance system, sonar, deep safety with a scooter, tags and a countdown.
We are offering you a FREE MONTH OF TRAINING prior to your first big event!
Train like a PRO
World class freediving centre that accomodates beginners & elite freedivers is located in the Marina of Kalamata, directly on the seafront. The divesite is located less than 10min drive with our RIB from the centre. Known for its pristine diving conditions with unlimited depth.
Our facilities offer warm showers, changing room & lockers, so we can arrive to the divesite prepared and ready to jump in the water. Top quality freediving equipment is available for hire if you do not have your own.

How to apply?
- Follow @kalamatafreedivers social media
- Send us an email with a motivational video explaining what makes you the right candidate
- The last day to apply is 15th of June. The results will be published on 1st of July
The selected candidate:
- Never participated in any of the depth freediving world championships (CMAS or AIDA),
- Will be one of the participants of the CMAS World Championship in Kalamata.
- Is at least 18 years old and have SSI level 1 freediving certification (or equivalent from a recognized training agency).
- Must possess valid insurance covering freediving activities for the duration of your stay with us. Alternatively insurance can be purchased through Kalamata Freedivers.
- Is active on social media platforms (IG, FB,..).
- Will regularly publish his/her training progress on social media platforms during the training month, through videos / reels / stories and posts.
